Before Treatment:
If you are new to Compression Therapy, please let us know so that we can explain the treatment options, protocols, contraindications, and risks to ensure your comfort. All new patients will undergo a quick consultation with the therapist to rule out any contraindications to Compression Therapy.
Patients should ensure their pockets are empty of objects such as pens, keys, mobile phones, etc., as these items may interfere with the garment and jacket’s compressive force. We typically recommend wearing comfortable clothing, such as leggings with socks for lower-body treatments or a soft, long-sleeved top for upper-body treatments.
For hygiene reasons, we advise against bare skin. Patients will lie on their backs on the treatment bed, and they will be informed about the treatment cycle. It is advisable to empty your bladder before and after the treatment. The machine has preconfigured treatment programmes and complex treatments. We can choose and change cycles, pressure, and time through the protocols.
During the Treatment:
In this process, the therapist needs to gain a thorough understanding of your symptoms, needs, and general state of health. The patient is fitted with a Body Ballancer suit, and the therapist adjusts the treatment according to your needs and plan, and the treatment begins. Treatment sessions typically last 30 to 50 minutes. Patients may feel a gentle massaging sensation as the suit inflates and deflates, promoting lymphatic drainage.
Our Treatment Options:
- Lower Limb Treatment: Focuses on the legs and hips to alleviate weight-bearing strain.
- Upper Limb Treatment: Targets the arms and shoulders, ideal for tension relief.
- Abdominal Treatment: Focuses on the trunk, preparing the body for further compression.
Pre-Treatment Cycle:
The Pre-treatment cycle, based on the Wave/Ballancer cycle, acts as a primer for the main treatment. Its primary purpose is to drain fluids from the proximal portion of the limb. The compression sequence initiates near the body’s trunk, progressively moving lower down the limb.
The Wave/Ballancer Cycle:
The Wave/Ballancer cycle applies a peristaltic compression sequence to the limb. This wave-like sequence moves a 30-cm pressure zone along the limb, from distal to proximal. As the pressure in the compression cells increases, a new air cell is added to the inflated cells group while the first one deflates. This progression continues until the pressure wave reaches the top of the sleeve, concluding the treatment. The Wave/Ballancer cycle lasts about 20 seconds. The Wave/Ballancer cycle progresses to the next cell of the sleeve only after the configured pressure is reached, resulting in a slower pace (approximately 30 seconds).
Slim Cycle:
The Slim cycle delivers a directional massage that starts at the base of the treated limb, progressing upwards towards the torso until the entire limb is compressed. From the patient’s perspective, each session is an enjoyable and relaxing experience, with the added benefits of volume reduction, improved skin condition, and a decrease in fibrosis. The constant massage action softens, stretches, and increases tissue flexibility.
After Treatment:
Patients can resume normal activities immediately. The Body Ballancer provides excellent results in combating cellulite, improving skin tone, and aiding in optimal health achievement. Regular use of the Body Ballancer promotes a healthy lymphatic system, essential for eliminating waste and toxins resulting from the body’s natural metabolic process. The gentle, rhythmic action helps alleviate stress symptoms and improves sleep quality. The Body Ballancer is a medical device used for lymphatic drainage and circulation enhancement. It is a safe and non-invasive treatment, but like any other medical procedure, it may have some side effects. Common side effects of Body Ballancer include:
- Mild discomfort: Some patients may experience mild discomfort or pain during treatment, usually due to pressure applied by the device on the body.
- Skin irritation: In some cases, the device may cause skin irritation, which typically resolves on its own.
- Feeling lightheaded: Some patients may feel lightheaded or dizzy during or after treatment, often due to increased blood flow, which should resolve quickly.
- Increased urination: The increased circulation may lead to more frequent urination, a normal response that is not typically cause for concern.
It is essential to note that these side effects are generally mild and temporary. If you experience severe or persistent side effects, please contact your healthcare provider promptly.

The number of sessions varies based on individual goals and needs. However, it is generally recommended to undergo a series of sessions, often spanning a few weeks, to achieve the desired results.
While the Body Ballancer is safe for most people, individuals with certain conditions like deep vein thrombosis, severe circulatory disorders, or recent surgery might have contraindications. Consulting a healthcare professional is advisable.
Wear comfortable clothes such as legging with socks for the lower body and a soft, long-sleeved top for the upper body. For hygiene reasons, we advise against bare skin. It is advisable to empty your bladder before and after the treatment.
Yes, the pressure levels can often be adjusted to suit individual preferences and comfort levels during the session.
In conventional massages, therapists usually target the muscles, often using deep massage techniques to reach the muscular layer. In contrast, lymphatic drainage massage is specifically aimed at the delicate lymphatic vessels and nodes located just beneath the skin. This approach requires only gentle pressure to encourage fluid movement. Therefore, if you’re dealing with issues such as water retention, bloating, cellulite, or poor skin tone, traditional massages may not achieve the desired results. Our state-of-the-art Body Ballancer system is designed to alleviate conditions such as water retention, bloating, cellulite, and poor skin tone.
