Women’s Health
Acupuncture effectively supports women’s health by balancing hormones, reducing menstrual pain, and alleviating symptoms of menopause. It enhances fertility, eases pregnancy discomfort, and addresses conditions like PCOS and endometriosis.

What to expect
At Omnia, we follow The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), which issues guidance for healthcare practitioners. Based on it’s recommendations for treating chronic pain we have the following approach:
Patient-Centred Care Planning
We have a patient-focused approach to all our treatments. Our acupuncturists take their time to understand your health condition before recommending a treatment. You will be actively involved in shaping your care plans which will prioritise your needs and preferences.
Holistic Approach
We assess pain not just by its physical symptoms but also by its impact on psychological well-being, socioeconomic status, social relationships, and overall quality of life. This means treatments are based on your health goals. We might recommend Tai Chi or herbal medicine to help you recover better and faster.

Thanks to Omnia Lifestyle’s Acupuncture treatments, my decade-long battle with hay fever
and rhinitis is over. With Dr Wu’s expertise, I no longer rely on medications or steroids.
Grateful for a life without constant suffering!
I really benefited from my second visit to Omnia Lifestyle to help cure my plantafascitis. I would recommend Patrick as a very good physiotherapist. He performed a hand massage of the ham strings, thigh and lower calf, tendon and ligament regions as well around the heels and fascia of both feet. Following this, I
was put into a body balancer which compressed/decompressed air as it worked through my body feet to chest. This helped to reduce the water retention and
improve my blood circulation. Both treatments contributed significantly such that I am
walking normally right now and no longer have a sharp pain on the sole of my left foot. Thank you Patrick for such rigorous attention.
I had acupuncture treatment for a pulled muscle on my back. I received a very professional
and friendly service and after one session my issue was resolved and after a couple of
months i have not had any reoccurrence.
Very nice experience. Prof Wu helped me so much to relief from neck and shoulder pain with
amazing TuiNa skills. Definitely recommend.
I had a great time at Omnia. I felt very welcome since the time I arrived and my acupuncture
was amazing. I totally recommend it! Looking forward to my next time!
I tried Acupuncture for back and shoulder pain and was fully treated by the wonderful
therapists! I would highly recommend to anyone who has any pain, as they offer a variety of
treatments.
Dr. Jialin’s acupuncture treatment was incredibly effective. Her expertise and gentle
approach made the experience comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommend!
I am in my 50s and I have Edema in my legs which has caused me a lot of pain and
limited my quality of life. I used to enjoy cook, it’s a form of stress relief for me.
However cooking requires standing for long periods. Having Edema in my feet prevent
me from enjoying. Nowadays I don’t look forward to cooking just thinking of the pain
afterwards. However after seeking treatment from Dr Jialin I feel that with her care I
will definitely be able to improve my quality of life and go back to enjoying cooking
again. She is clinically very sound and when she massaged my feet I felt relief from the
pain. She has also advised me what to do in the future. I have booked a 6 weeks
package with her .
Frequently Asked Questions
NICE recommends Acupuncture as only one of four evidence-based treatments for chronic primary pain. NICE also recommends Acupuncture for the prevention of tension headaches and migraines. Moreover, it is backed by more than 20,000 research studies. Used in nearly 4,000 clinical guidelines including WHO, NICE and ACP.
Many people avoid acupuncture because they think needles will hurt. Acupuncture needles are very small in diameter, approximately twice as large as the average diameter of human hair and 10 times smaller than the average diameter of a standard hypodermic needle. Most people find acupuncture calm and relaxing. Patients often describe the needle sensation as a tingling or dull ache. This is a sign that the Qi is being stimulated and released, indicating that the treatment is working. At Omnia, we also offer Electroacupuncture and Fu Needle treatments, which minimise any fear or discomfort caused by needles.
Treatment frequency and the number of sessions required depend on several factors, including your constitution, mental state, the severity and duration of the health condition, lifestyle habits, and the quantity and quality of your Qi. Acupuncturists believe that health determinants are unique to each individual. Typically, some change is noticed within 5 or 6 treatments, although occasionally 1 or 2 treatments may suffice. Chronic conditions typically require more time to resolve than acute ones.
